Karri Danner, a 2009 Brown Mackie College – Findlay graduate and Jessica Stanley, a 2009 Brown Mackie College – North Canton graduate, were presented with The Career College Association (CCA) 2010 GREAT (Graduate Recognition for Excellence, Achievement and Talent) Award at a ceremony that took place in the Cannon House Caucus Room in Washington, DC on Wednesday, March 10. CCA President Harris Miller presented the award to Danner and Stanley for their outstanding academic and personal achievements.

Antonio Edwards developed an interest in criminal justice early in life. “I have a passion for standing up for what’s right,” he said. As a senior in high school, he volunteered for an internship at the Miami-Dade County (Florida) Clerks Office, where he processed subpoenas and performed other clerical duties. Upon graduation, he joined the staff at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office as a Legal Assistant. He studied criminal justice for a year at another college before becoming frustrated with large class sizes and a dull curriculum. Antonio then transferred to Brown Mackie College – Miami.

Before Shaun Robinson enrolled in the Practical Nursing program at Brown Mackie College - South Bend in 2005, he was a journeyman of sorts.
