Entry Requirements & Criteria
Each Brown Mackie College location has a limited number of scholarships. Winners
are permitted to choose The Brown Mackie College location of their choice and scholarships
will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.
Imagine America
The Imagine America Foundation (IAF), established in 1982, is a not-for-profit organization
dedicated to providing scholarship, research and training support for all Title
IV eligible career college institutions in the United States and Puerto Rico.
The scholarship program is for high school seniors, with a 2.5 GPA or above, who
are planning to attend a participating career college. These students may also be
asked to demonstrate financial need and/or commitment to community service.
Brown Mackie College is honored to be a participating career college in the Imagine
America Scholarship program. We look forward to our future students taking advantage

President’s Scholarship
Each year, the Brown Mackie College family of schools make available scholarships of $1000
each to qualifying seniors from area high schools. Up to three scholarships will
be awarded per high school. In order to qualify, a senior must be graduating from
a participating high school, must be maintaining a cumulative grade point average
of at least 2.0, and must submit a brief essay. The student’s extracurricular activities
and community service are also considered. The President’s Scholarship is available
only to students enrolling in one of Brown Mackie College’s Associate’s or
Bachelor’s degree programs. (Not all programs are offered at all schools.) Students
awarded the scholarship must enroll at Brown Mackie College between June and September
immediately following their high school graduation. Applications can be obtained
from the guidance departments of participating high schools or by contacting a Brown
Mackie College Representative. The deadline to apply is March 31.
The Brown Mackie College President’s Scholarship Award will be a total of $1,000
payable in three disbursements, two of which will be $333.00 and the last to be
$334.00. * All disbursements will be made co payable to the student and institution.
*The disbursements are payable in the first three consecutive terms of the student’s
program. The student must successfully complete each term and remain in good standing
with chosen Brown Mackie College school to be eligible to receive the next disbursement
of the scholarship.
